1.1 School Profile
In carrying out these teaching practices, i was placed in Far Eastern University as one of the host of the SEA Teacher located in the University Belt area, West Sampaloc, City of Manila, is a nonsectarian private university in the Philippines.It was established in 1928 Created by the merger of Far Eastern College and the Institute of Accountancy (now Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance), FEU became a university in 1933 under the guidance of first president Dr. Nicanor I. Reyes, Sr. It has been noted as the leading proprietary university in the Philippines. FEU's campus is noted for a number of historical buildings preserved from the first half of the 20th century. Far Eastern University was founded in 1933 when the Far Eastern College and the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance (IABF) merged. It's first president and founder is Dr. Nicanor I. Reyes.
And now after 86 years, under the presidency of Dr. Michael M. Aiba, FEU currently meets the highetst regulatory standards set for Phillipines HEIs and has become one of the best university in manila. I was very lucky to be placed here along with two other college students from Indonesia, SEA Teacher delegates from Halu Oleo University and Muhammadiyah Dr. Hamka University. On our first day, we were welcomed by our supervisor, Program Head, FEU Institute of Education, Dr. Stephen Jay Co, the Dean of Institute of Education, Elisa Manalac Ed.D. We were introduced to the facilities in FEU, especially the Education building.
For my teaching practicum, i was placed in the Padre Mariano Gomez elementary school, partner school of Far Eastern University. It is located on Pedro Guevarra street, around 1,3 km from FEU, it is named after Mariano Gomez de los Angeles, a Filipino Catholic priest, part of the trio who were falsely accused of mutiny by the Spanish colonial.Me and the other two delegates were introduced to the principal of P. Gomez, Mr. Noel L. Gelua. P. Gomez has around 5000 students, so the schedule is divided to two sessions, morning and afternoon. For grade 1-2, one teacher supervise all the subjects in one class. For grade 3 above, there are master teacher for each subject.
P. Gomez Elementary School aims to develop the spiritual, moral, mental, and physical capabilities of the child, provide him with experiences in the democratic way of life, and include ideas and accessary processes for enlightened, patriotic, upright, and useful citizenship. 1.2 Academic Support System
Regarding the academic support system in P. Gomez Elementary School, the school has whiteboards, blackboards, books, papers as part of the Low technology media. Lcd projector and computers as part of High technology media to support the education system.

1.3 Teaching System
As for the lesson schedule in P. Gomez, it is divided to two sessions, morning session and afternoon session. The school schedule is from Monday to Friday, starts from 6:30 am in the morning until 11:30 am for grade 1-3 in the morning session, and 6:30 am to 12:30 am for grade 4-6. Afternoon session starts at 13:00 pm until 17:00 pm for grade 1-3, and 13:00 pm to 17:30 pm for grade 4-6. Students will have a break time on 10:00 am and 16:00 pm. Every day has the same subject schedule. Each lesson is allocated in one hour (50 minutes).

1.4 Materials and other learning resources.
Regarding materials for teaching, P. Gomez has several materials that are often used by teachers to teach such as learning media, manila paper, cartolina, tarpapel and many others. As for learning sources, P. Gomez uses books which are in accordance to K-12 curriculum,the curriculum here in Phillipines. P. Gomez also uses high technology media such as Television and LCD projector.

1.5 Measurement and evaluation system
Teachers in P. Gomez uses authentic and practical evaluation based on the students performances in each lesson. The scoring is based on the assesment and evaluation form consist of questions for each students individually. But, the measurement of the students development are also taken from their behaviour, such as their teamwork ability during group activities.
1.6 Curriculum
The curriculum used at P. Gomez Elementary School is just the same curriculum used here in Phillipines, which is the K-12 curriculum. The K-12 curriculum itself is a kind of separated subject curriculum, where the lessons presented to students are carried out separately. It is similar to Indonesian KTSP curriculum in terms of the subject being carried out separately for each lesson.
