The method often used by teachers here in teaching is the lecture method, discussion, question and answer, group activities, and giving assignment. The method they use is of course combined with the concrete media that is using such as pictures, whiteboards, tarpapels and others. In low grade, the teacher uses a more fun games approach, compare to the more serious approach towards the lesson in high grade class.
1.2 Learning materials and innovation
Teachers often uses a traditional materials such as pictures, whiteboards, K-12 books, tarpapels etc. But sometimes, if needed they also uses other media such as television and lcd projector to attracts the students and makes the lesson more interestingg . And with regards to learning innovation, here the teachers carry out inquiry-based learning processes and refer to the 5 stages of scientific thinking namely observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating.

1.3 Sources of learning and technology
P. Gomez elementary school uses two kinds of media technology, the first is traditional or low class technology such as using manila paper, cartolina, tarpapels, whiteboard etc. Then there is high class technology or modern technology such as Television and Lcd projector.

1.4 Authentic assesment
About the authentic assessment used by this school, low grade teachers such as class 1, 2 and 3 are more likely to assess the process and results every day. Whereas for the high class 4, 5 and 6, the teachers tend to do an assessment every Friday (the end of the learning week).
